Founded in 1988, Flagship Construction has been a cornerstone of the construction industry in Nova Scotia for over 35 years. Headquartered in North River, just outside Truro, we’ve earned a reputation for delivering high-quality commercial and large residential projects—on time, on budget, and with an unwavering commitment to excellence. Our experienced team serves clients across Nova Scotia and Eastern New Brunswick, bringing deep regional knowledge, strong project management, and hands-on expertise to every build. Whether it’s a new facility, a major renovation, or a custom development, Flagship Construction is trusted by businesses and organizations that value reliability, craftsmanship, and long-term results.
In 2018, Flagship Construction entered a new chapter when it was acquired by business partners Maggie Stewart and André d’Entremont. With deep roots in Nova Scotia and a strong background in commercial construction, the new leadership brought a fresh perspective, a commitment to excellence, and a shared vision for the future. Since then, they have continued to uphold the company’s long-standing reputation for quality, reliability, and on-time delivery—while expanding services, embracing innovation, and building strong relationships across the province.

Today, Flagship Construction continues to deliver high-quality construction services, specializing in commercial fit-ups, new construction and additions, design-build projects, and end-to-end construction management. Our integrated approach, bolstered by our in-house teams at Maritime Mechanical and Magnolia Classic Cabinetry, allows us to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.
We are fully insured, holding a $5 million general liability policy and a letter of good standing from the Workers Compensation Board. All our employees have completed necessary clearances, including Child Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Record Check, FA2 Security Clearance (RCMP), and Personnel Security Screening (Reliability Status) with the Government of Canada.
